Job Summary:
The Strategic Internal Communications Advisor will help lead and execute impactful communication campaigns across our IT organization.
This role is ideal for a creative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and can translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, alignment, and engagement through innovative communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead end-to-end internal communication campaigns—from strategy and content
creation to execution and delivery.
– Serve as a trusted communications advisor on IT projects, offering strategic
guidance on messaging and stakeholder engagement.
– Partner with subject matter experts in various disciplines to align messaging with business goals.
– Craft clear, concise, and compelling written content tailored to diverse IT
audiences.
– Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all communication materials.
– Identify communication opportunities within IT initiatives and propose creative solutions to boost engagement.
– Navigate complex approval workflows and manage stakeholder reviews efficiently.
– Leverage enterprise communication platforms such as Sitecore, WorkVivo, and other digital tools.
– Collaborate with design and UX teams or independently create basic visual assets to support messaging.
– Mentor team members on communication best practices and emerging trends.
– Track and report on campaign performance, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
– 5+ years of experience in internal communications, marketing, or a related role—preferably in a technical or IT environment.
– Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
– Strong project management and organizational abilities.
– Ability to translate technical content into accessible, engaging messaging.
– Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., Sitecore,
WorkVivo, SharePoint, Microsoft 365).
– Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple
stakeholders.
– High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Nice to Have:
– Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma).
– Familiarity with UX principles and visual storytelling.
– Experience in change management communications.
– Knowledge of analytics tools to measure communication effectiveness
