BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Regional IT Manager ensures systems continuity across all elements of foundational infrastructure (Servers, Laptops, Single Sign-On, Active Directory, Network, Wireless, VOIP etc.) and coordinates Incident Management and Technical Support Level 1 and 2 for the Region.
This role also oversees store opening/closure projects, in close collaboration with the IT Retail Manager and Head of Finance.
PRINCIPAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
- Strong technical knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Meraki
- Solid understanding of POS systems, e.g., Retail Pro Prims or Oracle X-Store
- Strong aptitude for teamwork, problem-solving, and incident troubleshooting
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role within a retail/fashion environment
- Japanese – native or advanced proficiency
- English – fluent preferred
CONTACTS AND RELATIONS
- Reports functionally to the Global Head of Infrastructure
- Will support large infrastructure projects during the transition away from legacy systems
- Works within a design, build, and operational team interfacing with enterprise-scale service providers (e.g., helpdesk, network, security, hosting, authentication, desktops)
- Draws on past experience to contribute to infrastructure strategy aligned with governance frameworks and strategic objectives
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regional employee onboarding
- Managing Active Directory
- Supporting SD-WAN network
- Supporting wireless network infrastructure
- Managing VOIP systems
- Administering Microsoft AD/O365
- Supporting and managing SSO
- Overseeing ongoing global infrastructure management
- Providing expert service management with external vendors
- Logging, processing, and resolving technical issues via helpdesk and tracking systems
- Acting as the single point of contact for regional infrastructure needs
- Managing infrastructure assets (including replacements and provisioning for new joiners)
- Ensuring availability and transparency for regional end-to-end business processes
