Description:
- Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Manual and Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Document and track bugs and defects using Jira, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not affect existing functionality.
- Performance Testing: Evaluate the performance, scalability, and stability of our applications under various conditions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, UX designers, to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Work experience:
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG to streamline testing processes
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or similar.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience in testing web applications.
