Salesforce Technical Lead (Contract-to-Hire – Offshore Preferred)

Role Overview
Link Logistics is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to join their Application Engineering team. Reporting to the Director of Application Engineering, this role will focus on reducing tech debt, refactoring legacy components, and optimizing Salesforce functionality across the org. The right candidate is a self-driven, technically strong Salesforce developer who can move quickly, work independently, and provide architectural guidance and hands-on support.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and refactor legacy code, including Apex, flows, and process builders
Optimize and consolidate record types, case objects, page layouts, and metadata
Conduct dependency analysis using Elements.cloud and guide implementation
Lead bug fixes, system cleanup, and ad hoc technical requests
Enforce and rebuild the Salesforce security and permission model
Collaborate with business directors to drive faster decision-making
Make architectural decisions (e.g., trigger vs. batch class)
Oversee offshore developers and participate in code reviews
Must-Have Qualifications
6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
2+ years of experience as a Lead Developer
Deep expertise in Apex, Flows, Triggers, and automation tools
Strong understanding of Salesforce security models (roles, profiles, sharing rules)
Experience using metadata analysis tools like Elements.cloud
Salesforce Certifications: PD1, PD2, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform App Builder
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
Ability to self-manage, pivot quickly, and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight
Availability to work until 12 PM CST
Nice to Have
Experience in the real estate industry
Familiarity with custom Salesforce implementations or real estate-specific use cases
Prior experience supporting or managing offshore teams
