Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished SAP Director to lead and grow our client’s SAP consulting business, with a particular focus on S/4HANA implementations across enterprise clients. This role combines strategic leadership, program delivery excellence, and commercial accountability, requiring a professional with proven consulting experience and deep SAP knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the SAP business strategy, with an emphasis on S/4HANA adoption and digital transformation.
- Lead and manage the delivery of complex, multi-phase SAP programs, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budgets, and timelines.
- Engage with senior stakeholders (including C-suite) to provide advisory on SAP-enabled transformation initiatives.
- Oversee solution design in collaboration with SAP functional and technical leads, ensuring best practice implementation.
- Contribute to business development activities including pre-sales, proposals, and strategic partnerships with SAP and hyperscalers.
- Foster and develop high-performing consulting teams across functional domains.
Key Requirements:
- 12+ years of SAP consulting experience, with at least 5 years in a director or practice leadership capacity.
- Proven track record in delivering full lifecycle S/4HANA transformations, preferably in both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge across key SAP modules and their interdependencies.
- Previous experience in a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, PwC, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior client relationships and lead diverse teams.
- Commercial awareness, including experience with budgeting, P&L ownership, and strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
- SAP certifications are highly regarded.
