SAP SD S/4 HANA Lead

Our customer is looking for a SAP SD Lead Consultant with end-to-end experience on S/4 HANA Implementation projects for a 12-month (minimum) contract assignment.

Role: SAP SD S/4HANA Lead

Duration: 12-months + ext

Utilization: 100%

Start: ASAP / May 2025 (can consider 2-week notice)

Languages: English (German nice to have)

Travel: 1-week per month on-site in Dusseldorf, Germany

Key Responsibilities:

 Implementation: Leading or participating in the full lifecycle of SAP SD module implementation in S/4HANA, including design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

 Configuration: Configuring SAP SD functionality like sales order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and credit management based on business needs.

 Integration: Ensuring seamless integration between SAP SD and other modules like MM, LE, and FI.

 Troubleshooting: Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP SD-related issues.

 Business Analysis: Understanding business requirements and translating them into SAP SD solutions.

 Customization: Configuring SAP SD functionality to meet specific business requirements, including best practices and standard configurations.

 Documentation: Developing functional and technical specifications, and training materials for SD related activities.

 Testing: Preparing test plans and scripts, and performing unit, integration, and regression testing. 

Required Skills and Knowledge:

 SAP SD Expertise: Deep knowledge of SD module functionalities and processes, including enterprise structures, business partners, pricing, and logistics execution. 

 SAP S/4HANA: Experience with S/4HANA implementation methodologies and simplification scenarios. 

 Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of integration with other SAP modules (MM, WM, PP, FI, etc.) and third-party systems. 

 Business Process Knowledge: Familiarity with business processes in sales and distribution, including order-to-cash, logistics, and customer service. 

 Custom Development: Ability to write RICEFW specifications for custom development. 

 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in the SAP SD module. 

 Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders and other team members.
