Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled UI Developer Contractor with a broad awareness of various frontend tecnologies and expertise in SAP UI technologies. The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing, and optimizing user interfaces for enterprise applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, backend developers, business analysts, and product owners, to deliver high-quality UI solutions that align with business requirements. The UI Developer will play a critical role in maintaining design consistency, improving application usability, and driving best practices for frontend development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize UI components using SAP UI5, Fiori, and other SAP UI frameworks. Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to implement intuitive and responsive UIs. Integrate frontend components with SAP backend systems, including SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, and OData services.
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and security best practices in UI development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI- related issues in enterprise applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging UI technologies and recommend enhancements. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups. Develop reusable UI components and maintain component libraries to ensure consistency across applications.
- Document UI development processes, coding standards, and best practices to improve maintainability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in UI development with a strong focus on SAP UI5, Fiori, and SAP BTP. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OData services, and SAP Gateway.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
